Students, staff go head-to-head in March Madness tournament
With March Madness making its debut, Clayton Valley students and staff are showing excitement to play basketball and let loose. In total, there will be 17 games, and the winning student team will face the staff team. The event began March 17 and takes place in the main gym during lunch periods. Each team comprises six students and an optional coach, if the team chooses. Teams go head-to-head in a basketball tournament that runs through March 26, when the final is played. The

The CVCHS girls basketball team enjoyed an impressive run during the 2025-2026 season. The Ugly Eagles finished second among North Coast Section Division 1 teams and sixth overall in NCS, according to MaxPreps’ final rankings. Boys hoops reaches new heights with postseason run
Clayton Valley’s historic boys basketball season came to an end March 5. The Ugly Eagles finished 27-5 overall and possessed a 12-0 record in Diablo Athletic League play. Eagles carry high expectations into boys basketball season
Clayton Valley's boys basketball season is underway and the Ugly Eagles are trying to beat expectations after last year's playoff run.
